The Georgian Cultural Institute is an independent institution established in 1992. We initiate and support cultural projects which promote either Georgian culture in Denmark or Danish culture in Georgia. The Georgian Cultural Institute can assist in contact mediation, finding venues, organizing seminars.
The main objective of our Research Center is:
- To accumulate the information concerning the publications about Georgian Culture in European Media.
- To proof check and correct historical and scientific publications regarding Georgian Culture in Europe. Often some publications lack significant academic sour
- To work with established Georgian and Western scholars and provide the necessary expertise.
- To collaborate with research, media and different cultural organizations interested in Georgian Culture.
The Georgian Cultural Institute promotes the exchange of ideas, opinions and information between Denmark and Georgia.
Our events include: concerts, conferences, exhibitions, debates and lectures, studytours, theatre and film screenings.
